This 80-meter-high rocky outcrop holds a special place in French history. Founded in 708 by the Bishop of Avranches, Saint-Aubert, Mont Saint-Michel has become an internationally renowned tourist site, with approximately 3 million tourists visiting this World Heritage Site each year.
